That feeling of trying to get so much done in a day or week can be overwhelming… especially when you need to add to the pile. Most of the time, it’s about not having the time. Creating content that increases brand awareness is so important to help that brand succeed.
It made me think, I wonder what the average time it takes to write a 400word post?
LET’S BREAK IT DOWN ANOTHER WAY
It takes an average of 20 minutes to write 400 words
The average work day is 8.5 hours – that’s 510 minutes
The average work week is 42 hours – that’s 2520 minutes
20minutes / 2520 minutes
= .00793
x 100
= 0.793%
So, from the perspective of time management, writing a piece of content that explains why consumers should choose your brand, will take an average of 0.793% of your overall time in the work week.
It might be a cliche thing to say at the point… but the point is you have the time. Changing the perspective of the way we see things helps with our perception of what’s most important.
OK, IT’S NOT ALWAYS THAT SIMPLE
Ok, I get it… sometimes it’s not easy to write 400 words, but you get the point I’m making. Even if takes an hour, or spread the writing over a number of days, you still need to share the reasons why a consumer should choose your brand. Content writing is one of the most importance ways of increasing brand awareness.
Sorting out what the true priorities are, might need a different way of thinking. Effective brand communication might not seem like a priority to place at the top of the list, but whether you believe it’s important of not, trust the process, because if you’re consistent, it will pay off.
